Quick Turnaround Time
We understand how important your glasses are to your daily life, which is why TLC Eyewear offers quick and efficient service. Keep your glasses until the new lenses come in. Then leave your glasses with us for about an hour so we can cut the new lenses and set them into your existing frame.
Is Your Frame a Good Candidate?
Most frames in good condition can be fitted with new lenses. Our opticians will inspect your frame for wear, cracks, loose hinges, and lens compatibility before ordering. Very old, brittle, or damaged frames may not be suitable, and some rimless designs require specialized lenses. If a new frame is the better choice, browse our designer eyewear brands and prescription glasses.
Getting Started
Bring your frames and a current prescription, or schedule an eye exam if your prescription has changed. Many vision insurance plans cover lenses even when you keep your own frames. You can also turn a favorite frame into prescription sunglasses. Walk into our Canton, Brockton, or East Bridgewater office or book a fitting in advance.
Replacement Lenses FAQs
Can you put new lenses in my old frames?
Yes. Bring in your existing glasses and we’ll fit them with new prescription or non-prescription lenses, as long as the frame is in good condition.
Do you offer non-prescription lens replacement?
Yes. We can replace your lenses with non-prescription options like blue light or UV-protective lenses.
How long does lens replacement take?
You can keep your glasses until the new lenses arrive. Then we need your frames for about an hour to cut and set the new lenses.
What happens if my frames are damaged during the lens replacement process?
We handle your frames with care, but in the very rare event of damage, we will work with you to repair or replace the frames.
Can I put progressive lenses in my existing frames?

Will insurance cover lenses in my own frames?
Many vision plans cover lenses separately from frames. Call us and we’ll help you check your benefits.
Can I turn my glasses into sunglasses?
